About The Composer

British Composer Ebony Bones is the first Woman to have her Compositions performed by renowned International Orchestras including: The Beijing Philharmonic Orchestra and The Symphony Orchestra of India. She has been composing Music, Film, Television and Commercials since 2009.

Enlisted by Yoko Ono to Produce for Yoko’s critically acclaimed album, Bones is also The Royal Court Theatre’s first Female Composer since its inception in 1870. 

Described by The New York Times as a 'Musical Muse' to many, including luxury brands like Yves Saint Laurent, Valentino & Alexandra Wang - Bones founded the independent Record Label 1984 Recordings to better control her work, receiving credits for Netflix, EA Games, Ray-Ban, Yves Saint Laurent aswell as composing and songwriting for artists including Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Grammy Nominees Amadou & Mariam and Yoko Ono.

Studying alongside Amy Winehouse at London’s Sylvia Young Theatre School, Bones began her career at the age of 12 cast in Macbeth, by Oscar Winner and then director of The Shakespeare Globe, Sir Mark Rylance.

As the first woman in history to Produce an Orchestra, (in 2010) The British Composer is one of just 2% in the Industry, to be both a Female Orchestral Composer and Producer, becoming Abbey Road Studio’s first, with an upcoming new album set for release in 2026.
